Aline’s story through her words
“Right after my birth, I had some health problems that let me stay in the Intensive Care Unit. Following the days, I was getting better, and my parents and friend began to realize that I wasn’t expressing one side of my face, that this side had paralysis. Thus, we sought treatments to help this part. We went to different doctors, in many countries trying the most diverse treatment methods.
Even having a lot of friends at school, I suffered from bullying for my paralysed face since I was a little girl. I didn’t realize why that was happening, due to my huge innocence at that time. However, as I was growing, all these things began to affect me, and I didn’t know how to deal with it.

After my 4th year at school, I realized that my problem could not be solved by my parents or teachers, but only by myself. Receiving support from friends and colleagues, I talked directly with the school principal.
Without any expectation of getting better, I was trying to get accustomed to the idea of remaining with this paralysis. It wasn’t a huge problem or a thing that bothered me anymore. Until one day, when we saw on a tv show that the cure could be reached for this paralysis. The same one for which no doctor could say precisely what was, now we had some hope for a cure.
After contacting the Crystal Touch Clinic in Rotterdam, I could not believe that I would visit Europe and could possibly be cured.
Yes, it is possible! You must only desire it very much and have faith that all that you want is in your own hands. It doesn’t matter what they say. If you feel good – do it, because it’s for your own well-being. The paralysis does not justify that you don’t smile, that you do not make new friends. Because it is not a problem, it’s just a detail in your life. Think about it! It’s only a small detail among so many good things that you have. Nobody knows better, what is better for you, than yourself.

Since Aline started her treatment at Crystal Touch, she has achieved great results. Below are the photos that were taken on the first day she arrived at the clinic (with number 1), and after her 4th treatment (with number 4). Aline is very happy with her results. She is now, more than ever, confident about her smile.
In this video, Aline tells her story. Her father got very emotional telling her story, unable to keep tears. For the whole family, Aline’s improvement in her facial expressions was a day they all were looking and hoping for.
