Bell's Palsy Knowledge Base

Bell’s palsy recovery scenarios:

If you have recently been diagnosed with Bell’s palsy, or another peripheral facial paralysis, your recovery will most likely follow one of the two scenarios: it will either be quick, or it will take a longer time.

During a quick recovery scenario, you should see some improvements within the first 2 weeks.

If 3 or more weeks has passed since your facial palsy, and you still do not see any changes, you are most likely following a long recovery scenario.
