Everything is in Your Hands

We Grow Our Life Ourselves
nce a woman had a dream that God was serving behind a counter in a shop.
“Oh, my God! Is that You?” she asked excitedly.
“Yes, this is I,” God replied.
“And what can I buy from you?” the woman asked.
“You can buy absolutely everything from me,” he answered.
“In that case, please, give me health, happiness, love, success and a lot of money.”
God smiled at her kindly and went to the backroom to bring her goods. After a while, he came back with a tiny cardboard box.
“Is that all?” exclaimed the woman, in surprise and disappointment.
“Yes, indeed, that is all,” answered God, and added, “Didn’t you know, that in my shop I sell only seeds?”

A Tale About Personal Traits
nce upon a time there was an old woman who owned two large water jars. One jar was cracked, but the other was perfect and it always held water brim-full to the top. The water jars hung, balanced on each side, from a yoke that the woman carried on her shoulders. At the end of the long journey back home from the river the cracked jar was left with only half the water remaining. The journey was made every day for many years and every day the old woman had been bringing home only one and a half jars-full of water. The faultlessly perfect jar was very proud of its work and the poor cracked jar was ashamed of its handicap and was upset that it could only manage to do half the job it was made for.
One day the cracked jar said to the woman:
“I’m ashamed of having a crack that leaks water all the way home.”
The old woman smiled.
“Have you ever noticed that there are flowers growing on your side of the path, and there are no flowers growing on the other side of the path? I planted flower seeds on your side of the path because I knew about the crack in your side. Every day on our journey home, you water the flowers. All these years I have been able to decorate my house with these wonderful flowers. If you were not the way you are, all this beauty would not exist and it would not give my home the beauty it deserves.”
Each one of us has our own personal traits and it is those traits, in particular, that make our life interesting and worth living.

A book that brings back Hope and Smiles
The book was compiled by Elena Pashova because of her love for parables that contain wisdom carried over from one generation to another. The book is a journey into the deepest corners of oneself.
There are 15 parables in the book. The beautiful illustrations were created by Franziska Schillova specifically for this book. Each drawing was made to highlight the meaning of each parable, to inspire your emotions and surround you with warmth and happiness.
This book is a bridge between you and those who need your help very much. Our humanitarian project Bring back your Smile! exists thanks to all of you and this book helps to support the project.
The book will be a great gift. It can become your friend and support you during difficult times. And to our young and adult patients, who had lost their smiles, this book will become a new hope.
All proceeds earned from this book go to providing free help to financially disadvantaged patients who could not fully recover after a long-standing facial palsy.
€35 per book (incl. worldwide shipping with regular mail)
Available in English, Dutch, Russian and Portuguese

In every illustration of this book, there is a hidden butterfly (symbol of metamorphosis). Can you find them all?
